Man United eye Matheus Cunha but must sell before being able to afford Wolves' asking price for 15-goal star
{by} dailymail.co.uk

Multiple Premier League sides are interested in signing Matheus Cunha from Wolves this summer.

As first reported in Man United Confidential back in January, Old Trafford is a possible destination for the 25-year-old.

Cunha has been in fine form for Wolves this season, scoring 15 goals in 29 games across all competitions.

He is under contract until June 2029 but that deal includes a release clause worth £62.5million.

Wolves are unlikely to consider selling Cunha for anything less than that.

Newcastle, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur are also among the clubs keen on Cunha.

Matheus Cunha, who has a release clause worth £62.5m, is attracting a lot of transfer interest

The Red Devils would have to sell at least one senior player in order to afford Wolves' asking price.

Marcus Rashford, who is currently on loan at Aston Villa, is one possible candidate to be sold, while offers for fellow loanees Antony and Jadon Sancho would be considered too.

Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho could also be sold if the right bid comes in.

Cunha is not the only forward United are looking at.

Former Manchester City frontman Liam Delap is another target.

Delap could be available for as little as £30m if current club Ipswich Town get relegated, which looks more than probable.
