Newcastle want Man City midfield star
Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing out of favour Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips, according to The Sun.
Phillips, who is still regularly getting game time under Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate, wants to play more at the club level in order to secure a place in England's Euro 2024 squad next year.
Newcastle eyeing move for out-of-favour Chelsea star
Newcastle United have shown interest in signing Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah in January, according to a report from 90min.
The Magpies will face competition from fellow Premier League clubs like Nottingham Forest, Brentford and Fulham who are also keeping an eye on the player. But the most prominent name has to be Bayern Munich who have a long-standing interest in the English star.
Man Utd, PSG chasing Inter left-back
Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are set to compete to sign Inter left-back Federico Dimarco, according to Calciomercato.
The Serie A giants will reportedly demand €50m for the defender, although they are planning to offer him a new contract soon.
Zouma and Aguerd attracting interest from Saudi Arabia
West Ham's central defence partnership of Kurt Zouma and Nayef Aguerd might face changes in the January transfer window as several Saudi Pro League clubs have reportedly shown interest in acquiring both defenders, according to Football Insider.
Manchester United's Harry Maguire continues to be a target for West Ham. Additionally, the club had previously secured Stuttgart defender Konstantinos Mavropanos in the summer.
Former Sunderland manager Di Canio rejected Saudi offer
Paolo di Canio has declined an opportunity to join Roberto Mancini's coaching staff for Saudi Arabia's national team.
After Mancini's resignation as the head coach of Italy in August, he took on the role of leading Saudi Arabia's national team with the aim of strengthening their performance in major tournaments.
"I didn't just say no to oil money, because it would have been an important experience in an environment that wants to grow and establish itself, like I do myself," Di Canio told La Stampa.
"Roberto Mancini didn't offer me a minor role, he wanted me as a second coach on the pitch to train and improve the players.
"His courtship made me proud, especially given that we aren't particularly close: a few games of Padel, a chat and not a lot more, so if he thought about me, it's because he believes in my ideas and my work.
"I want to thank him, it wasn't easy to decide, I contemplated it for a long time, and in the end I chose to follow my heart."
