Bournemouth agree deal for Kerkez replacement

Bournemouth have reached an agreement with Rennes for the transfer of left-back Adrien Truffert.

Le Parisien claim a deal worth around €17m has been agreed between the two parties and the move is expected to help Milos Kerkez secure his anticipated switch to Liverpool.

Man City to send youngster to Lyon in Cherki deal

Manchester City will send one of their young stars to Lyon as part of the deal to sign Rayan Cherki, according to L'Equipe.

Their report claims James McAtee and Claudio Echeverri are among the possible candidates to relocate to France for the year, while it may be too complicated to pursue Oscar Bobb given his elevated status in the City squad.

Man City and Chelsea agree goalkeeper transfer

Reserve goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli is set to leave Chelsea and sign for Manchester City in time for the Club World Cup.

Ben Jacobs reports the surprise deal will soon go through, handing Pep Guardiola a replacement for the experienced Scott Carson after it was confirmed the veteran will leave the club this summer.

Chelsea yet to make Ekitike offer

Chelsea are struggling to make a breakthrough in talks with Eintracht Frankfurt over Hugo Ekitike, according to Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg.

The Blues are admirers of the former PSG forward, who enjoyed a breakout campaign in Germany with 22 goals in all competitions, but have not yet made an official offer and their hesitance could be good news for Liverpool, who are also thought to be keen on a deal.

PSG and Bournemouth stall in Zabarnyi talks

Talks between PSG and Bournemouth over the transfer of Illia Zabarnyi have stalled, according to L'Equipe.

The Champions League winners were keen to snap up the Ukrainian in time for the Club World Cup. However, they are yet to meet Bournemouth's €70m asking price and are reluctant to bid much more than €50m.

European giants emerge as Grealish suitors

Bayer Leverkusen have entered the running to sign Jack Grealish, according to The Sun.

Erik ten Hag's new club are on the lookout for a replacement for Florian Wirtz, who is inching closer towards joining Liverpool, and the 2023-24 Bundesliga champions have reportedly set their sights on Grealish, who is expected to leave Manchester City this summer after falling out of favour under Pep Guardiola.

Sane set for Bayern's Club World Cup squad

Arsenal confirm Brazilian's transfer exit

Arsenal have confirmed that Marquinhos has moved to Brazilian Serie A side Cruzeiro on a permanent deal.

The 22-year-old joined the Gunners from Sao Paulo in 2022 but made just six appearances in all competitions.

The Brazilian winger, who had loan spells at Norwich City, Nantes, and Fluminense, has signed a new deal until 2028 with Cruzeiro.

Man City confirm Ait-Nouri signing

Manchester City have confirmed the signing of Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolves on a deal until 2030.

The 23-year-old left-back has joined for a reported fee of £34 million ($46m) as Pep Guardiola's men continue their summer spending spree.

European giant targets Paris Saint-Germain ace Barcola

According to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich have placed Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola at the top of their transfer wishlist.

This deal is likely to be 'difficult' to achieve but the German giants are exploring a move for the 22-year-old.

He adds that if they cannot sign the France international, Athletic Club's Nico Williams is a 'top alternative' - while Brighton's Kaoru Mitoma, AC Milan's Rafael Leao, and Liverpool's Cody Gakpo are also on their radar.

Newcastle United consider £30m Aston Villa move

Sky Sports journalist Sacha Tavolieri claims Newcastle United have shown a 'keen' interest in Aston Villa academy graduate Jacob Ramsey.

The report adds that the winger could be available for around £30 million ($40.6m), with manager Eddie Howe said to be keen on having him compete with Anthony Gordon for a starting spot.

Premier League clubs eye Bayern Munich star

Bayern Munich star Kim Min-jae is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League trio Chelsea, Liverpool, and Newcastle United.

According to Caught Offside, the centre-back would cost €35 million (£29.5m) after the German giants dropped their asking price from €50m (£42m).

The 28-year-old South Korean international still has three years left on his contract.

New Inter Milan manager

Inter Milan have announced that former player Cristian Chivu has become their new manager on a deal until 2027.

The 44-year-old, who leaves his role at Parma to join the Italian giants, played at the Serie A team between 2007-14.

This comes days after the surprise exit of coach Simone Inzaghi, who made a lucrative move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.

Barcelona terminate defender's contract

Barcelona have announced that they have agreed to terminate Clement Lenglet's contract with immediate effect.

The centre-back joined Barca in 2018 from Sevilla and made 160 appearances for the club, but has spent the last few seasons out on loan.

His contract was set to expire in 2026 but now both parties have come to an agreement.

The Frenchman has wasted no time in joining Atletico Madrid, where he spent last season on loan, on a deal until 2028.

Cherki is Man City-bound! PL giants strike agreement with Lyon

Manchester City have reportedly agreed a deal with Lyon for the transfer of France international Rayan Cherki ahead of the Club World Cup.

The Citizens made a fairly low opening bid of €22.5 million (£18.9m/$25.6m) but saw it rejected. Their second bid, however, has now been accepted by Les Gones with The Athletic having reported that the fee is in the region of €40m (£33.7m/$45.6m).

The evergreen 40-year-old has now stated that he will be staying in Riyadh. He told reporters after hoisting the UEFA Nations League trophy aloft as captain of Portugal: "It won't change anything.
