El club regresó
de un breve periodo de vacaciones y se prepara para retomar el entreno desde
casa.
Mediante un
comunicado oficial, el club paisa oficializó el final del periodo de vacaciones
anticipadas a todo el plantel profesional masculino, así como a su cuerpo
técnico, que tuvo una duración de siete días, entre el 2 y 9 de mayo.
Según se explica
en el comunicado, los jugadores están a disposición del cuerpo técnico para
reanudar los entrenamientos virtuales, con la gran expectativa de tener el aval
del Gobierno Nacional para volver a los campos de entrenamiento de forma
progresiva y bajo los protocolos propuestos por Dimayor.

Después de
haber culminado las vacaciones colectivas, el plantel profesional masculino,
regresará este lunes 11 de mayo al aula virtual para continuar con las rutinas
de preparación que venían desarrollándose desde que se decretaron las medidas
de aislamiento obligatorio.
Club, Cuerpo
Técnico y Jugadores, continúan unidos para superar esta difícil situación y
ojalá poder retornar prontamente a los entrenamientos en campo, para seguir
trabajando por la búsqueda de los objetivos deportivos trazados al inicio del
2020.

Ortiz, Presidente de Atlético Nacional, se pronunció al respecto: “Después de
una semana de descanso, es importante que el grupo se vuelva a encontrar para
retomar los trabajos de gestión del período transitorio, más aún cuando desde
el Gobierno Nacional, el Presidente Duque manifestó el pasado viernes que se
encuentran evaluando el protocolo presentado por la Dimayor donde se contempla
un eventual regreso gradual a los entrenamientos de acuerdo a las experiencias
que se están teniendo en otras ligas del mundo.
A su vez, el
capitán Daniel Muñoz expresó: “Esperamos con ansias tener estos últimos
entrenamientos virtuales en el mes de mayo y confiando que en el mes de junio,
volvamos a tener esa sensación de ser futbolistas profesionales, de tocar el
césped de nuevo, de poder ver y sentir la pelota rodar, creo que eso para
nosotros es fundamental es como nacer de nuevo, así que esperamos terminar las
últimas sesiones virtuales y esperanzados y con mucha fe en Dios en que todo va
a mejorar y que pronto estaremos en las canchas haciendo lo que más nos gusta”.
La Institución
Verdolaga retomará los trabajos con sus futbolistas, quienes se encuentran en excelente
estado de salud, y con quienes el Club ya ha llegado a los acuerdos
contractuales que permitirán seguir afrontando la temporada 2020 bajo la
coyuntura generada a raíz del COVID – 19. Gratitud enorme con Cuerpo Técnico y
Jugadores quienes debido a su solidaridad y sentido de pertenencia le dan
nuevamente la mano a la Institución.
