Tres futbolistas
del Vitória de Guimarães han sido los primeros jugadores de la Liga
de Portugal en dar positivo de Covid-19, después de que esta semana la mayoría
de los clubes de la primera lusa comenzaran los entrenamientos.
Según un
comunicado emitido por el club, los tres deportistas -cuyos nombres no han
trascendido- "se encuentran clínicamente bien, asintomáticos y en
aislamiento, con apoyo del club y cumpliendo las normas establecidas por
la Dirección General de Salud".
El club también
ha explicado que la plantilla seguirá entrenando de forma individual.
En Portugal, los
clubes comenzaron el pasado lunes los entrenamientos colectivos por grupos,
aunque con anterioridad se practicaron los test de Covid-19.
El primer
ministro portugués, António Costa, anunció que de las competiciones
profesionales de fútbol, sólo se autorizaría la finalización de la primera
división, a la que le restaban diez jornadas.
En principio, el
Gobierno autorizó a que se pueda iniciar el campeonato el fin de semana del 30
y 31 de mayo, aunque con la anuencia de la Dirección General de Salud de
Portugal, que aún no se ha pronunciado.
Además, están
pendientes de cerrar una serie de estadios lusos en los que se disputarán todos
los encuentros, siempre a puerta cerrada.
Más de la mitad
de los 1.126 fallecidos y de los 27.406 contagiados en Portugal están
registrados en el norte luso y una de las zonas más afectadas es la comarca de Guimarães.
