valorado en declaraciones exclusivas a Betfair qué puede suponer jugar a puerta
cerrada como sucederá en la mayoría de las grandes ligas cuando se retomen esos
campeonatos. El ex delantero cree que tendrá impacto negativo (aunque
necesario) y usa un ejemplo muy concreto: “El Liverpool no habría remontado
seguramente al Barcelona si el partido de hace un año se hubiera jugado esta semana
a puerta cerrada”.
Berbatov cree que
en aquel duelo el público fue clave. “Fue determinante, sí, me resulta difícil
imaginar cómo habría sido sin gente. Obviamente, se produjo como se produjo y
fue una de las mayores remontadas de la historia. Por eso el Liverpool merece
todo mi respeto”, añadió.
El búlgaro cree
que “los jugadores del Barcelona deben andar un año después preguntándose como
puñetas les pasó lo que les pasó… marcar tres goles en el Camp Nou y luego
perder la eliminatoria en Anfield… aunque ellos también han protagonizado
grandes remontadas, como la del PSG. Es tópico, pero en el fútbol a veces

es jugar partidos relevantes a puerta cerrada. “Jugué contra la Roma con el
Bayer Leverkusen en Italia a puerta cerrada. Y no me gustó nada. Veías que los
dos equipos sentían lo mismo. Parecía un partido de entrenamiento… solo que era
la Champions League y tenías que motivarte más que nunca precisamente por eso”,
añade un Berbatov que marcó en aquel duelo “porque me comí la cabeza pensando
que nada de eso importaba, que tenía que jugar y ganar como fuera”.
“Te
puede afectar eso de salir y no ver ni un hincha, aunque sepas que es un
partido importante, pero tu mente y tu cuerpo te dicen que es como un partido
de entrenamiento. Eso te puede llevar a malas actuaciones. Da mala espina”,
añadió. El ex ariete vaticina que “habrá equipos que sufran” por jugar a puerta
cerrada.

aprovechó que ya se ha hecho oficial el retorno de la Bundesliga para la
próxima semana para aplaudir la organización de la liga germana. “Los alemanes
siempre están liderando y mostrando cómo se tienen que hacer las cosas. Tengo
unas ganas locas de que todo salga de maravilla como lo han planeado para que
así otros campeonatos los sigan”, anheló.

Leverkusen, en su análisis pide que se haga un seguimiento especial al Leipzig
y a dos de sus futbolistas: Timo Werner y Dayot Upamecano. “Son dos jugadores
