El organismo
inglés de técnicos insta a los clubes a que acepten retomar la Premier League
en escenarios neutrales. Apela a volver a entrenar lo antes posible.
La Asociación de
Entrenadores de la Premier League advirtió este miércoles que los clubes
deberán aceptar el tener que jugar en campo neutral si quieren terminar lo que
resta de temporada.
Los clubes se
reunirán el próximo lunes para votar diferentes propuestas para intentar acabar
una temporada, hasta el momento suspendida hasta el mes de junio y, según la
cadena 'BBC', para adoptar la medida de jugar en campo neutral harían falta 14
de 20.
Y si no sale
adelante, para Richard Bevan, director ejecutivo de la Asociación de
Entrenadores, sería el fin. "Sí, creo que esto sea probablemente
correcto", indicó a la radio de la 'BBC'. "El Gobierno, si aún no lo
ha hecho, dejará claro que los partidos en casa con estadios densamente poblados
realmente cuestionan si se pueden cumplir las reglas de distanciamiento
social", apuntó.
Por otro lado, el
directivo también tiene claro que para empezar el 12 de junio los
entrenamientos deben regresar lo antes posible. "El tiempo no está de
nuestro lado y los entrenamientos se deben poner en marcha muy pronto",
aseveró.
