La Bundesliga se
propone reanudar el próximo 15 de mayo la temporada, suspendida desde
marzo por la COVID-19, y ha informado de ello a los 36 clubes de Primera y
Segunda división, según el diario 'Bild'.
Esta información
sigue a la decisión adoptada por el gobierno de la canciller Angela Merkel y
los líderes regionales de dar luz verde a la reanudación de los partidos, a
puerta cerrada, y bajo estrictas medidas de seguridad e higiene.
"La decisión
de hoy es una buena noticia para la Primera y la Segunda de la Bundesliga. Esta
ligada también a una gran responsabilidad para los clubes que deben cumplir con
las reglas médicas y organizativas", avanzó el director administrativo de
la DFL, Christian Seiffert, acerca de la autorización del ámbito político.
Seiffert admitió
que los partidos a puerta cerrada no son la solución ideal, pero a la
vez es la única posible para terminar la temporada, algo necesario para
asegurar la existencia de algunos clubes.
Se espera ahora
que este jueves se reúnan los responsables de los clubes y de la DFB para
definir los pasos siguientes hasta la reapertura de la temporada.
El presidente del
Consejo Directivo del Bayern Múnich, Karlheinz Rummenigge, agradeció ya de
antemano a los responsables políticos su decisión y destacó que ésta permitirá
que la definición del título se pueda dar "en el campo y no en los
despachos".
El Bayern, a
falta de nueve jornadas, es líder, con cuatro puntos de ventaja sobre el
Borussia Dortmund.
Rummenigge
también agradeció a la DFL por desarrollo del plan de precaución y
llamó a aplicar el mismo de forma disciplinada.
El director
administrativo del Dortmund, Hans-Joachim Watzke, dijo que su club era
consciente de la responsabilidad y recordó que la contención de la pandemia
sólo había sido posible gracias a la disciplina de la gente en toda Alemania.
"Sólo porque
la gente mostró una disciplina increíble podemos regresar paso a paso
a otra forma de la normalidad", dijo.
"Muchos
sectores vuelven a su actividad bajo estrictas normas y el fútbol también. En
ese marco en el Borussia Dortmund somos conscientes de nuestra
responsabilidad", agregó.
Watzke dijo
también que justamente para un equipo como el Dortmund, que recibe una fuerza
especial del apoyo de su público, jugar a puerta cerrada no es lo mejor, pero
que la alternativa de esperar a que fuera posible jugar partidos con
público no era viable.
La mayoría de los
clubes empezaron a entrenar hace unas semanas, aunque por parejas o en grupos
reducidos. El jueves pasado se inició asimismo la ronda de tests entre la
totalidad de los jugadores de primera y segunda división, personal técnico y
demás implicados en los partidos.
