calendario acortado que habrá una vez que retome el futbol, los dueños
propusieron un nuevo formato.
El brote del
COVID-19 hizo que se paren todas las actividades masivas e impuso una
cuarentena obligatoria en muchos paises. El futbol no está excento a estas
medidas, y su retorno deberá ser analizado de acuerdo a cada país y a sus
dirigentes.
El torneo
mexicano es muy particular y con un formato extraño para el resto del mundo.
Como tal, tiene más facilidades para ser modificado sin que se altere demasiado
el calendario o que haya ventaja para ciertos equipos, puesto que, de cualquier
manera, todos se enrentarán en la fase regular.
En ese orden,
algunos de los dueños de los clubes sugirieron un cambio en el formato de la
Liguilla para poder cumplir con el tiempo acordado y que no se retrase tanto el

La Fiesta Grande,
entonces, sería a partido único a disputar en el estadio del elenco mejor
clasificado a la misma. El inconveniente que generaría eso sería la enorme
desventaja que sufrirían desde el quinto hasta el octavo clasificado.
Estas escuadras,
además de no poder jugar en su estadio, perdería el dinero de la taquilla (si
es que llega a haber público) y los juegos más importantes para meter en el
contrato de televisión y la publicidad estática.
