Los infectados
y fallecidos, el contacto físico y las reunión de personas son las tres
principales preocupaciones del jefe médico de la FIFA ante una posible vuelta
de las competiciones.
Michel D'Hooghe,
jefe médico de la FIFA, ha vuelto a mostrar este viernes su preocupación ante
la posibilidad de que se reanuden las competiciones de fútbol y ha argumentado
los tres aspectos principales que le hacen partidario de que no se reinicie el
fútbol para acabar la temporada.
Infectados y
fallecidos: "En el mundo vemos una gran cantidad de personas infectadas y
personas que mueren por coronavirus todos los días. Incluso los jóvenes. Y por
eso hay que estar preocupados ante la posibilidad de que las competiciones de
fútbol se reanuden".
El fútbol es un
deporte de contacto: "El fútbol siempre ha sido un deporte de contacto. La
primera regla en todos los países es evitar el contacto físico. Me parece
difícil poder jugar un partido de fútbol mientras permanezco a dos metros de mi
oponente. Esta es la primera consideración".
Evitar reuniones
de personas: "El segundo es que debemos evitar reunir grupos de personas.
Los jugadores se encuentran en el campo y en el vestuario. Y luego hay miles de
seguidores que van a ver el partido. Incluso si decidimos jugar a puerta
cerrada, seguirá habiendo riesgos. Ya hemos visto en el pasado que grupos de
seguidores se reúnen para ver el partido de forma privada".
