El reinicio de la
Bundesliga parecía una cuestión de tiempo, pero lo sucedido en Colonia durante
la tarde del viernes podría alterar la decisión sobre la reanudación de la
competición alemana. El Colonia, décimo clasificado de la Bundesliga, anunció
en un comunicado que un total de tres miembros de su plantilla habían dado
positivo en las pruebas de coronavirus. La noticia influirá con total seguridad
en la decisión final del gobierno en torno a la canciller Angela Merkel, que se
espera con inquietud para la próxima semana.
Eso sí, el
Colonia no parará los entrenamientos a pesar de los positivos de los tres
activos, cuyos nombres no fueron publicados por la entidad. Serán sometidos,
tal y como lo prevé el protocolo, a una cuarentena de 14 días. Según avanza el
diario germano Bild, se trata de dos jugadores y un fisioterapeuta del primer
equipo. Mientras se aíslan, el resto del equipo del Colonia seguirá con la
preparación en grupos, siguiendo “las directrices de higiene y prevención
ejercidas desde el 6 de abril“, explicó el director deportivo Horst Heldt.
“La
salud y la privacidad de nuestros jugadores y empleados tiene preferencia ante
todo tipo de reflexiones“, continuó el máximo responsable del área deportiva
del FC. “Las medidas que hemos ido llevando a cabo hasta la fecha y la
estrategia basada en tests rutinarios han demostrado su eficacia para que ahora
podamos reaccionar implementando soluciones de carácter individual“. El
Colonia, por tanto, intentará mantener la normalidad. Queda por ver de qué
manera interpretan los hechos Merkel y su gabinete.
