La Bundesliga
sigue siendo el primer gran campeonato europeo que está más cerca de
reanudarse. Los clubs alemanes acogieron con esperanza el anuncio realizado por
los ministros de deportes de los 16 estados federados del país tras la reunión
que mantuvieron hoy. En su comunicado consideran “justificable” que el
campeonato se reanude “a mediados o finales de mayo” y a puerta cerrada siempre
que la Liga alemana (DFL) “imponga las medidas de higiene y condiciones médicas
más estrictas”.

Esta postura será
puesta sobre la mesa el jueves por los presidentes de los estados federales en
la reunión que mantendrán con el gobierno de la canciller Angela Merkel. De la
misma los clubs esperan que salga la fecha definitiva para que la Bundesliga
pueda reanudarse tras quedar suspendida a mediados de marzo por la pandemia de
coronavirus.
Un ligero
retraso respecto a los planes de la Liga alemana
No obstante, que
los ministros de deporte de los estados alemanes consideren que la Bundesliga
pueda volverse a jugar “a mediados o finales de mayo” supone un pequeño retraso
respecto a las expectativas de la DFL, que la semana pasada fijó el 9 de mayo
como la fecha para el inicio de los partidos.
Políticos
influyentes, incluido el Ministro de Salud, Jens Spahn, han apoyado los planes
de la DFL, que están siendo analizados por el Ministro de Trabajo.
El Dortmund
avisa del peligro de colapso
El director
ejecutivo del Borussia Dortmund, Hans-Joachim Watzke, advirtió que “toda la
Bundesliga podría colapsar” si el campeonato no se reanuda. En cualquier caso,
“ya no será en la forma que conocemos”, aseguró.
Los grandes
clubes alemanes esperan desesperadamente completar la temporada para asegurarse
unos ingresos televisivos estimados en 300 millones de euros. Según la revista
Kicker, 13 de los 36 clubs de primera y segunda división de la Bundesliga están
al borde de la bancarrota debido a la crisis.
