El dueño de la
entidad amenaza con demandar a la KNVB por las plazas europeas y la final de
Copa. La Federación pide ayuda al Gobierno: "400M€ de pérdidas".
La decisión de la
KNVB de poner fin a la Eredivisie de forma prematura y sin conceder ascensos y
descensos sigue provocando multitud de reacciones en los Países Bajos. A parte
de los clubes de la segunda división holandesa involucrados SC Cambuur y De
Graafschap, que ya no subirán, y que están costernados. Hay más voces críticas.
Los aficionados
de SC Cambuur y De Graafschap se han movilizado para intentar dar marcha trás a
la decisión y han creado una página para recoger firmas. Ya han conseguido que
firmen 15.000 personas.
Pero hay otro
club, que se siente desfavorecido: el Utrecht. La KNVB repartió las plazas
europeas siguiendo la clasificación actual, como recomendó la UEFA en su
reunión con las federaciones. Ajax y AZ irían a la Champions, mientras,
Feyenoord tendrá su puesto en la fase de grupos de la Europa League, al igual que
PSV y Willem II, que jugarían la ronda preliminar. El problema llega porque el
Utrecht, sexto de la tabla, y con peor ratio partidos/puntos que el Willem II,
se queda sin plaza en Europa. Y ahí su frustración ya que la final de Copa, que
da una plaza para acudir a la Europa League, también ha sido suspendida
definitivamente. El Utrecht era uno de los finalistas junto al Feyenoord, que
ya tiene plaza europea por ser tercero.
"Contrataremos
a todos los abogados para impugnar esta decisión. Esa final de Copa deberá
jugarse más allá del 1 de septiembre", ha manifestado el dueño del
Utrecht, Frans van Seumeren.Declaraciones que siguen la senda mostrada por el
club, tras la decisión del viernes, de emprender acciones legales contra el
organismo del fútbol neerlandés.
El abogado
Christian Visser, en declaraciones recogidas por De Telegraaf, ve posibilidades
en caso de que el Utrecht decida demandar al KNVB. "Especialmente con la
final de Copa tiene una oportunidad". La KNVB también ha elegido esa tabla
clasificatoria para repartir el dinero de la TV.
Alarma
económica: 400 millones de pérdidas
Eric Gudde, director
de fútbol profesional de la KNVB, ha hecho público los daños que pueden causar
en el fútbol neerlandés la pandemia del coronavirus. La KNVB habla de una
pérdida de ingresos que puede rondar los 400 millones de euros. Esta llamada de
auxilio ha sido mediente una carta dirigida a Ministerio de deportes, al
Ministerio de Justicia y Seguridad y a los alcaldes de las distintas ciudades.
Además, de a la Cámara de Representantes. "Estamos haciendo sonar la
alarma sobre las consecuencias para nuestro sector. Le pedimos que trabaje con
nosotros para encontrar soluciones creativas, reales y disponibles para el
fútbol profesional. Toda la ayuda y cooperación con el gobierno son, por lo
tanto, necesarias para garantizar la supervivencia del sector", añade
Gudde.
"Tenemos que
tener cuidado de no aislar el fútbol profesional holandés en Europa. Esto
dañaría seriamente la posición atlética de los clubes holandeses por un período
más largo", concluye el máximo representante del fútbol neerlandés.
