Los jugadores del
Arsenal, cuyo entrenador es Mikel Arteta, regresarán a su centro de
entrenamiento de London Colney a partir de la próxima semana, según anunció hoy
el club inglés, el primero de la Premier en tomar esta decisión. La actividad
se llevará a cabo en estricto cumplimiento de las normas sanitarias encaminadas
a combatir la propagación del coronavirus.
“Los
jugadores tendrán acceso a nuestros campos de entrenamiento de London Colney la
próxima semana”, anunció un portavoz del Arsenal, “El acceso seguirá siendo
limitado, cuidadosamente administrado y la distancia social se mantendrá en
todo momento”.
Los jugadores del
Arsenal podrán entrenar individualmente en los terrenos del club, pero su
presencia estará regida por un sistema de rotación que les permitirá no
cruzarse entre ellos. El resto de instalaciones permanecerán cerradas y se les
pedirá a los jugadores que regresen a casa inmediatamente después del
entrenamiento.
Según el diario
Times, la Premier League planea reanudar la temporada, interrumpida debido al
coronavirus, a partir del 8 de junio y a puerta cerrada.
