Han trasladado
sus planes a la UEFA a la espera de decisión del Ejecutivo.
Nueva vuelta de
tuerca a la espera de la decisión definitiva (siempre pendiente de lo que diga
la evolución de la pandemia y los gobiernos de cada país) en eso de encontrar
un marco idóneo a la vuelta del fútbol y de la competición. Hoy por las
pantallas de la sede de la UEFA en Nyon han pasado las Ligas europeas, que
han trasladado el deseo e intención de que sus campeonatos puedan terminar
antes del fin del mes de julio.
La de aprovechar
alguna semana de junio y el mes de julio, siempre ha sido la opción favorita de
los equipos, en un intento de no dar por clausurada la competición, algo
que ya hs sucedido en Holanda. De cumplirse, las finales europeas tendrán
lugar el 26 y 29 de agosto.
De cumplirse esa
promesa, la UEFA dedicará el mes de agosto a dar por terminadas tanto la
Champions League como la Europa League, competiciones a las que las quedan por
disputar 17 y 27 partidos respectivamente.
La decisión
definitiva sobre el posibe calendario y los criterios a aplicar para la
clasificación en las competiciones europeas de la próxima temporada en caso de
no acabar las Ligas, se tomará mañana, con motivo de la reunión del
Ejecutivo de la UEFA.
