En España el
Gobierno ha tenido que intervenir para intentar poner de acuerdo a La Liga y la
Federación en su intento de acordar una vuelta del campeonato. No es tarea
fácil y es probable que en otros países encuentren más problemas. En Francia,
por ejemplo, el sindicato de futbolistas hizo una encuesta anónima hace unos
días en la que los futbolistas se mostraban en contra de volver en estas condiciones.
Y ahora ha sido su presidente Sylvain Kastendeuch, uno de los presidentes de
UNFP, quien en una columna en el diario Le Monde ha dejado claro que los
jugadores no volverán a competir en estas condiciones por el riesgo que entraña
para su salud, sobre todo por el riesgo de lesiones.
"El estudio
médico realizado por la UNFP y Fifpro alerta sobre los riesgos elevado de
lesiones en caso de disputarse partidos cada tres días después de un largo
tiempo de inactividad como este: una fatiga muy acentuada y un incremento
multiplicado por seis de riesgo de lesiones musculares desde el final del
segundo partido además de una bajada del rendimiento", comenta en su
columna Sylvian Kastendeuch.
También se
muestra en contra de jugar a puerta cerrada y aboga por renunciar al regreso de
momento: "¿Qué sentido tendrá para un jugador no poder realizar su
actividad en presencia de los seguidores?. La urgencia económica no debe ir por
delante de la urgencia sanitaria. Renunciemos a la vuelta de la competición en
estas condiciones. Nos parece lo más razonable y lo más justo y se trata de que
impere el poder de la razón".
