Italia es el
tercer país con más casos de coronavirus en el mundo. Ya son más de 160 mil
quienes se han infectado, aunque por suerte casi cuarenta mil ya se han
recuperado de la enfermedad. Aunque en los últimos días las autoridades se
esperanzan con la curva, que ha entrado en una meseta, todavía la luz hasta
lejos en el camino para salir de la cuarentena obligatoria.
En las últimas
horas, Sandra Zampa, subsecretaría de Sanidad de Italia, respondió sobre uno de
los temas del que más habla en el deporte: ¿cuándo volverá la Serie A? El
campeonato italiano fue uno de los primeros en parar en Europa. Primero se
postergaron varios encuentros, incluida la vuelta por la semifinal de la Copa
Italia entre Juventus y Milan, después se tomó la iniciativa de jugar a puertas
cerradas hasta que finalmente se detuvo todo como en casi todo el mundo.
Zampa fue tajante
a la hora de referirse que la actividad no volverá a reanudarse hasta que todas
las medidas sanitarias y médicas estén completas. Precisamente, subrayó que
hasta que no aparezca la vacuna contra el coronavirus, el fútbol no podrá
volver en la Serie A de Italia: "Los estadios llenos solo los veremos
cuando se den las condiciones de máxima seguridad y tengamos una vacuna",
dijo en una entrevista con la RAI.
Igualmente, la
vocera del gobierno aclaró que no hay ninguna prisa por regresar a la
actividad, más cuando se tiene en cuenta que ya han muerto más veinte personas.
"Creo que si esperamos un mes mas para jugar, a puerta cerrada, tampoco
sería una catástrofe", aseguró la subsecretaria de Sanidad. Se habla hasta
que ni a principios de mayo podría regresar el fútbol allí.
