Lo llevamos días
diciéndo en el Diario As, la pandemia del COVID-19 no ha parado el fútbol
oficial en algunos países del mundo. Aún rueda el balón en Burundi, en
Nicaragua, en Bielorrusia, en Tayikistán y desde este fin de semana, también en
Taiwán.
Lo cierto que con
tan poco fútbol a donde mirar, nos hemos centrado en quién sería el mejor
futbolista en estos momentos de pandemia. No sería Messi, ni Cristiano, ni
Haaland, ni Mbappé ni siquiera el longevo Kazuyoshi Miura, al que tendremos que
dar el hipotético Balón de Oro cuando casi todo el planeta está en
confinamiento.
Hay varias
opciones. Bien podía ser el uzbeko Jasur Jakhshibaev, delantero de 22 años, que
milita en el Energetik-BGU, uno de los equipos líderes de la liga de
Bielorrusia. Pero no. También podíamos conceder tal honor a Manuchehr Jalilov,
medio del todopoderoso Istiqlol Dushanbé de la liga de Tayikistán, que lidera,
junto a su compañero Sheriddin Boboev, la tabla de goleadores del torneo
tayiko. Incluso, el haitiano Benchy Estama, dos goles marcados en el primer
partido de la liga de Taiwán.
Pero si nos centramos
solamente en los números para elegir al 'verdadero' mejor jugador en estos
momentos tenemos que viajar hasta Nicaragua, a su Liga Primera. Por
sorprendente que parezca, el joven mexicano Fernando Villalpando es el jugador
más desequilibrante en estos momentos en el planeta fútbol.
