En Italia los
equipos se están organizando para regresar al trabajo, pero parece imposible
volver a abrir los campos a los tifosi en este año.
La Serie A se
prepara para reanudar sus entrenamientos: todos los equipos están tomando
medidas para que, a partir de mayo, los jugadores vuelvan gradualmente a
trabajar en las ciudades deportivas. Todavía quedan muchas dudas: no se saben
las fechas en las que las competiciones se reanudarán, ni si el formato de las
copas europeas cambiará y, además, las entidades tendrán que cerrar las
negociaciones para recortar los sueldos de los futbolistas.
La única certeza
que filtra en estos días desde el Calcio, es que en 2020 los estadios no
volverán a abrir para los tifosi.
El peligro de un
nuevo repunte de la epidemia de COVID-19 seguirá constante también cuando se
llegue a los 0 contagios diarios, algo que podría ocurrir en Italia a partir de
mayo. Hasta que no haya una vacuna, volver a la normalidad será imposible, así
que la Liga italiana estudia disputar los partidos a puerta cerrada y, además,
organizarlos en campos neutrales si los del equipo de casa pertenecen a una
zona con más riesgo.
Por esa razón, en
la semana pasada, también se habló de disputar las 12 jornadas que faltan para
terminar este curso en Roma, organizando una maxiconcentración de los 20
equipos en la capital. Para volver a ver las gradas llenas, entonces, lo más
probable es que habrá que esperar hasta 2021.
