la liga alemana, Christian Seifert, para saber "cuándo" podrán
devolver parte de la normalidad a la sociedad y comenzar a superar el
coronavirus.
En una entrevista
este miércoles al 'New York Times', Seifert habló de "cuanto antes
terminemos, más flexibilidad habrá para las competiciones europeas". Los
equipos alemanes han vuelto ya al trabajo, bajo estrictos protocolos para no
dar más trabajo al sistema sanitario del país, el cual parece estar rindiendo.
Y es que
Alemania, pese a un alto nivel de infectados, está entre los países con menos
fallecidos. "Somos parte de la cultura del país, la gente anhela recuperar
un poco de la vida normal y esa parte podría ser la Bundesliga. Apoyamos al
gobierno y mantenemos contacto para saber cuándo será el momento de
volver", dijo.
Lo que parece
también claro es que la liga alemana, habitual de estadios llenos durante todo
el curso, tendrá que terminarse a puerta cerrada, aunque eso sí lo haría para
finales de junio, cuando muchas ligas quizá aún no han sido capaces de volver.
Seifert no ocultó la repercusión económica de la crisis del COVID-19.
