El
exfutbolista tendrá que cumplir prisión domiciliaria tras abonar más de un
millón de dólares como fianza. Se quedará en un hotel de Paraguay.
Ronaldinho Gaúcho
ha abonado 1.600.000 dólares como fianza para abandonar la cárcel y cumplir
arresto domiciliario. El juez Gustavo Amarilla ha decidido finalmente aceptar
la petición del exfutbolista, que tendrá que permanecer en un hotel del centro
de Asunción junto a su hermano. En el hotel tendrán vigilancia permanente y
estarán en habitaciones separadas.
El exfutbolista
brasileño, procesado en Paraguay por ingresar al país con pasaporte falso, cumplió
este lunes su primer mes de prisión preventiva en medio de la emergencia
sanitaria por la COVID-19, que ha paralizado casi toda la actividad judicial
del país sudamericano. Ronaldinho y su hermano mayor y asesor de negocios,
Roberto Assis Moreira, se encontraban en la Agrupación Especializada, una sede
de la Policía Nacional, en Asunción, que también funciona como cárcel.
Ronaldinho y su
hermano llegaron a Asunción el 4 de marzo para apoyar con su imagen un programa
de asistencia social a niños y niñas de Paraguay. Dos días después fueron
detenidos porque ingresaron en el aeropuerto internacional de Asunción con
pasaportes paraguayos manipulados. Sus abogados aseguran que fueron un regalo,
dado que tenían pensado abrir negocios en Paraguay.
Entre los
imputados figura Dalia López, la empresaria paraguaya que les recibió en el
aeropuerto y que es presidenta de la fundación benéfica que gestionó la
presencia de los hermanos en Paraguay. López está declarada en estado de
rebeldía y con orden de captura internacional desde el 18 de marzo.
La empresaria
está señalada por la Fiscalía como supuesta cabeza de una red dedicada a
"facilitar la elaboración y utilización de documentos de identidad y
pasaportes de contenido falso", con vinculaciones en los organismos del
Estado. Ronaldinho celebró su 40 cumpleaños el 21 de marzo pasado en la
Agrupación Especializada, donde ha participado en partidos de fútbol con otros
internos.
