El organismo
envió una advertencia al club francés “por conducta inapropiada”.
La UEFA ha
advertido este martes al Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), según informa el diario
L’Équipe, en relación con la “conducta inapropiada”, a juicio del organismo que
rige el fútbol europeo, de sus jugadores tras el partido de vuelta de octavos
de Champions en el Parque de los Príncipes contra el Borussia Dortmund (al que
ganó por 2-0, con lo que los parisinos se clasificaron para octavos). En la ida
el Borussia Dortmund había vencido por 2-1.
El partido se
jugó a puerta cerrada debido al brote de coronavirus. Al final del encuentro,
ya clasificados, los jugadores del PSG celebraron el triunfo desde el estadio
junto a sus aficionados, que se encontraban, enfervorizados, en el exterior.
Pero también fue
muy sonada la burla que el plantel de Thomas Tuchel hizo a Erling Haaland, ya
que, sentados en el césped del Parque de los Príncipes, los jugadores del PSG,
con Neymar al frente, imitaron la celebración del joven delantero del Borussia
Dortmund cuando marca un gol.

La UEFA no
sancionó al PSG y se limitó a enviarle una advertencia. La burla a Haaland
motivó que el plantel del PSG recibiera muchas críticas por su mal ganar. Con
esta victoria, el conjunto parisino acabó con su maleficio: llegó a cuartos
después de tres temporadas consecutivas cayendo en octavos.
Después la
pandemia del coronavorirus provocó la suspensión de todas las competiciones y
en estos momentos está en el aire cuándo podrán reanudarse si ello es posible.
El propio PSG anunció la suspensión a partir del 16 de marzo por un periodo
indeterminado de todas sus actividades.
En el momento de
interrumpirse el campeonato, el equipo que dirige Thomas Tuchel marchaba líder
de la Ligue 1, con 12 puntos más que el Marsella, 2º, y con un encuentro
pendiente para los parisinos.
