David Ospina
vivió la primera parte de la temporada a la sombra de Alex Meret, titular fijo
del Napoli en la era de Carlo Ancelotti. Sin embargo, con la llegada de Gennaro
Gattuso, el colombiano le ganó el pulso
al meta italiano y se adueñó por completo del arco Azzurri.
Esta situación no
tiene muy contento a Meret, quien esperaba mayor protagonismo en el cuadro
napolitano y estaría pensando en abandonar Napoli, que a pesar de tener puestas
sus fichas en él pensando en el futuro, pues apenas tiene 23 años, estaría
dispuesto a dejarlo ir para no tenerlo contra su voluntad, tal como ha apuntado
TuttoSport.
"No se
mantendrá la opción de alternar los arqueros porque Alex Meret no estaría de
acuerdo en disputar el puesto con David Ospina. Experiencias recientes han
aconsejado a la gerencia napolitana que no frene a los jugadores que no quieren
estar, Incluso a Meret, siempre y cuando llegue una oferta adecuada: la puja
comienza en 60 millones", informó el medio italiano.
A esto se suma
que el ex SPAL pica en punta entre las opciones que baraja el Milan como un

Meret llegó al
Napoli en el verano de 2018 de la mano de Carlo Ancelotti. En su primera
temporada como Azzurri intercaló el puesto con Ospina, pero en la segunda se
ganó toda la confianza de Carletto y desplazó por completo a David, siendo
titular absoluto en 21 juegos, incluyendo 6 de Champions League.
Sin embargo, el
panorama de Ospina cambió por completo de la mano de Gattuso, quien vio en el
arquero paisa la combinación de reflejos, experiencia y buen trato de balón con
