por muchos el mejor jugador de todos los tiempos, ha terciado en la rivalidad
Cristiano Ronaldo-Messi y ha afirmado, en una entrevista en el Canal Pilhado,
de youtube, que “hoy por hoy Cristiano es el mejor jugador del mundo”.
El mito
brasileño, sin embargo, señala que “obviamente no se puede olvidar a Messi”.
Considera que “el portugués es el mejor porque es más consistente, más estable.
No se puede olvidar a Messi, obviamente, pero no es un delantero”, pese a la
enorme cantidad de goles que lleva el argentino.

Pelé admite que
“la elección es difícil porque está todo muy igualado”. En la entrevista,

sólo se pone por delante de cualquiera sino que, además de minimizar a Messi
respecto a Cristiano Ronaldo, ningunea a Maradona, al que ni siquiera cit a y
con el que mantuvo una agria rivalidad hace algunos años. Entre los futbolistas
que Pelé cita de pasada entre los mejores, aparte de Messi, tres jugaron en el
Barça: Ronaldo, Ronaldinho y Cruyff.
