Después de días
de absoluta incertidumbre relacionada con la emergencia del nuevo coronavirus,
el Ministro de Deportes de Italia, Vincenzo Spadafora, ha puesto una fecha para
la reanudación del campeonato de la Serie A. En realidad, ha dicho cuál sería
el mejor escenario.
En declaraciones
realizadas para 'TG1', Sapadafora señaló: "La Serie A puede reanudarse el
3 de mayo, eso es lo que esperamos: luego evaluaremos si las puertas estarán
abiertas o cerradas al público. A esto se agregarán la Liga de Campeones y la
Europa League, que se cruzarán con el nuevo calendario".
Se avecina
entonces, por lo menos, un mes y medio sin fútbol para los fanáticos del
Calcio, pero con la esperanza de que el campeonato realmente pueda comenzar
otra vez a principios de mayo. No es que haya quedado confirmado, puesto que
todo lo que gira en torno al coronavirus se va conociendo día a día y no sería
responsable fijar una fecha para la vuelta de la actividad. Lo que ha dicho
Spadafora, en otras palabras, es aclarar que no habrá fútbol antes de ese fin
de semana. Eso sí, se espera que pueda finalizar antes del 30 de junio, fecha
en la que se vencen varios contratos de futbolistas con sus respectivas
instituciones.
Spadafora luego
aclaró las otras medidas de protección emitidas por el gobierno."Hemos
suspendido todas las obligaciones tributarias hasta el 30 de mayo para todos
los clubes deportivos y alquileres que son propiedad del estado donde se
realizan los deportes", avisó.
Por otro lado,
Gabriele Gravina, presidente de la Federación de Fútbol italiana (FIGC),
aseguró que está dispuesto, si es necesario a causa de la emergencia por el
coronavirus, a organizar partidos de la Serie A en julio.
"Gracias al
aplazamiento de la Eurocopa, algo que deseábamos, tenemos más posibilidad de
elegir fechas para recuperar los partidos aplazados en febrero entre mayo y
junio, con el deseo de que podamos terminar antes del 30 de junio", afirmó
Gravina en una entrevista a la radio italiana "Radio 24". "De no
ser así, como ya lo hizo la Federación Española, pediremos la posibilidad de
seguir jugando unos diez o quince días en julio", sentenció.
