
Tras la
suspensión del campeonato italiano hasta el 3 de abril se barajan diferentes
escenarios desde solicitar un aplazamiento de la Eurocopa hasta dar por
finalizada la competición.
La propagación
del coronavirus ha propiciado que este lunes, como media de prevención, se
tomase la decisión de suspender cualquier actividad de deporte profesional en
Italia hasta el 3 de abril. Eso incluye la Serie A. Concretamente, tres de sus
jornadas, y en estas el fútbol italiano se pregunta qué pasará entonces con la
actual edición del campeonato italiano.
Según La
Repubblica este martes se reunirá de urgencia el Consejo de Federcalcio para
trabajar en la búsqueda de una solución al entuerto resultante del hecho de que
a lo largo del presente mes de marzo no puedan disputarse las jornadas 27, 28 y
29 del campeonato italiano. Y con la duda de la 30, que está programada para el
fin de semana del 4 y 5 de abril, tan solo un día después del 3 de abril hasta
el que, en estos momentos, duraría la prohibición.
El problema es
mayor de lo que puede parecer en primera instancia. El hecho de que algunos
clubs de la Serie A están inmersos en la disputa de competiciones europeas y
otras circunstancias como que las fechas de parón internacional también están
cubiertas por partidos de selecciones dificultan la confección de un calendario
alternativo que en se antoja un auténtico rompecabezas.

¿Por
qué no posponer la disputa de estas tres jornadas a las semanas posteriores a
cuando estaba programada la finalización del campeonato? Porque este verano hay
Eurocopa, por lo que, a priori, no existiría tiempo material para hacerlo. Y es
por ello que una de las opciones que se estaría barajando es pedir a la UEFA
que posponga la Eurocopa, una posibilidad que se antoja arduamente complicada
de ejecutar.
Por otra parte,
también se habla de que la Serie A se diese por terminada sin disputarse todas
las jornadas, pero este supuesto se percibe como más inverosímil todavía.
En definitiva,
todo un lío de enorme magnitud muy difícil y complejo de solucionar.
