Una vez acabado
el partido contra el Norwich, que eliminó al Tottenham de la FA Cup en la tanda
de penaltis este miércoles, el centrocampista de los ‘spurs’ Eric Dier subió a
las gradas del Tottenham Stadium para enfrentarse a un aficionado,
protagonizando un altercado para olvidar, después que el seguidor en cuestión
hubiese insultado al hermano del centrocampista inglés.
En las imágenes
que se vieron en varias redes sociales, se vio a Dier trepando varias filas de
asientos y enfrentándose a dicho aficionado, antes de ser escoltado por los
comisarios. Más tarde, el técnico del conjunto londinense, José Mourinho,
aseguró que el seguidor había insultado al hermano de Dier, recriminándole la
derrota, en los penaltis, aunque lamentó el incidente y criticó la actitud de
su jugador: “Creo que Eric Dier hizo algo que los profesionales no podemos
hacer, pero hizo algo que todos haríamos”, dijo Mourinho en su conferencia de
prensa posterior al partido, intentando explicar las causas de esta reacción:
“Cuando alguien te insulta y tu familia está involucrada, especialmente tu
hermano menor... Esta persona insultó a Eric, el hermano menor no estaba
contento con la situación y Eric tampoco estaba contento. Pero nosotros como
profesionales que somos no podemos hacer lo que él hizo”.
