El conjunto
alemán ha tenido que modificar sus planes de verano por culpa de la enfermedad.
El Borussia
Dortmund ha cancelado su gira asiática prevista para verano debido a la
problemática del coronavirus ha informado hoy martes el conjunto alemán situado
en el Norte-Westfalia, lugar de uno de los principales focos de la enfermedad
detectados en Alemania.
“Lo
sentimos mucho porque sabemos que hay mucha gente que quiere que estemos cerca
de ellos”, admitió Carsten Cramer, director general del Borussia Dortmund,
añadiendo que “tomaremos todas las medidas de protección que sean necesarias.
La seguridad del equipo y de todos los empleados de BVB es siempre nuestra
principal prioridad”, afirmó a través del portal Sport Bild.
Aunque el
ejecutivo del club de Signal Iduna Park no ha desvelado los planes para el
próximo verano, podrían repetir gira por Estados Unidos tal y como ha sucedido
en los últimos dos años.
“Tenemos
algunas ofertas y las examinaremos todas. Si decidimos hacer un viaje, debe ser
100 por ciento responsable y sin riesgo para todas las partes involucradas”,
finalizó Cramer.
El conjunto de
Lucien Favre tiene la mente puesta para el enfrentamiento de Champions League
ante el París Saint-Germain donde parten con ventaja tras el resultado
cosechado (2-1) en Signal Iduna Park, aunque antes deberán enfrentarse este
próximo sábado al Borussia Mönchengladbach, duelo clave por la tercera plaza de
la clasificación y para las aspiraciones de título en la Bundesliga.
