La semifinal
se iba a disputar este miércoles y la suspensión se hizo oficial tras una
reunión entre representantes de ambos clubs con el alcalde y el prefecto de
Turín.
El partido de
vuelta de las semifinales de la Coppa Italia entre la Juventus y el AC Milan
que se debía jugar en Turín este miércoles (20.45 horas) fue pospuesto
indefinidamente debido a las preocupaciones por el brote de coronavirus, según
acordó la prefectura turinesa. La decisión se produjo después de que la Agencia
de Protección Civil revelara que 27 personas han muerto en Italia por la
enfermedad en las últimas 24 horas, con lo que el número total de fallecidos
llegó a 79. Los casos ha aumentado en el país hasta 2.502.
El partido iba a
jugarse en principio con restricciones para los residentes de Lombardía, Véneto
y Emilia, así como para los que viven en las provincias de Savona y
Pesaro-Urbino. Inicialmente se pensó en disputarlo a puerta cerrada, pero a las
21.30 de la noche llegó la orden de suspenderlo, tras una reunión mantenida con
representantes de la Juventus y Milan, el alcalde de Turín, Chiara Appendino, y
el prefecto de la misma ciudad, Claudio Paolombque.
Los dos equipos
habían empatado 1-1 en el partido de ida disputado en San Siro, donde Cristiano
Ronaldo igualó la eliminatoria con un discutido penalti. Ante Rebic había
adelantado al Milan.
