competición” al no aplazarse todos los encuentros.
Definitivamente
solo se jugarán cuatro partidos de la jornada 26 de la Serie A. Tras
suspenderse el sábado los encuentros Juventus-Inter, Milan-Genoa,
Sassuolo-Brescia, Parma-SPAL y Udinese Fiorentina, hoy la Lega decidió aplazar
el Sampdoria-Verona, previsto para el lunes, a causa del coronavirus pese a que
apenas dos horas antes el gobernador de la región de la Liguria, Giovanni Toti,
decretase que se diputaría a puerta cerrada en el estadio Luigi Ferraris.
Esta decisión es
un reflejo del caos que reina en los últimos días en el ‘calcio’. La polémica
está servida ya que la Lega de la Serie A había inicialmente decidido jugar
esos partidos a puerta cerrada antes de cambiar de idea a escasas horas del
comienzo de la jornada para preservar la imagen del fútbol italiano.
Según el
presidente liguero, Paolo Dal Pino, de transmitir partidos “grandes” como el
Juventus-Inter sin público, la Serie A habría visto “dañada” su imagen. En este
contexto el administrador delegado del Inter, Giuseppe Marotta, aseguró que “si
se siguen aplazando partidos, el campeonato podría no llegar a su fin”.

del campeonato se ha alterado”
Marotta también
denuncia que, como algunos partidos se han pospuesto y otros no, “el equilibrio
del campeonato se ha alterado. Es un torneo distorsionado. Solo hay que pensar
en las lesiones y las suspensiones. Y hay un aspecto psicológico cuando se mira
la clasificación”.

Así, el Inter,
tras ver aplazados sus partidos ante Sampdoria y Juventus, ha quedado ya
relegado a 8 puntos del Lazio, nuevo líder. Ante esta situación seguidores de
la Curva Norte del equipo ‘nerazzuro’ colocaron en las últimas horas varias
pancartas ante la sede de la Lega en Milán. ‘Lega indigna. ¡Qué vergüenza!’ y
‘Respeto por el fútbol, respeto por los aficionados’, se podía leer en ellas.
El Brescia
amenaza con emprender acciones
Por su parte, el
Brescia ha difundido un comunicado en el que amenaza con “emprender acciones
como indemnización” tras la decisión de suspender los partidos, “adoptada sin
ninguna consulta previa con los asociados, resulta ser ilegítima, contraria a
la lógica y al sentido común, así como asumida con formas y términos
inaceptables”.
Otros clubs como
Fiorentina y Bolonia también han mostrado su protesta por el hecho de que no se
hayan suspendido todos los partidos.
