El técnico del
Liverpool todavía no se ve ganador de la Premier.
El entrenador del
Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp, dijo que la derrota encajada ante el Watford va a
"liberar" a sus futbolistas, que, a partir de ahora, jugarán sin la
presión de batir récords. El técnico alemánaseguró que su equipo reaccionará
tras la derrota encajada en el estadio Vicarage Road. "Ya no habrá que
hablar de récords", señaló el preparador de los 'reds', que acumulaban
cuarenta y cuatro partidos sin conocer la derrota y dieciocho victorias
seguidas en la Premier, algo solo conseguido antes por el Manchester City de
Pep Guardiola.
"El equipo
no fue lo suficientemente bueno ante el Watford", dijo Klopp, que buscó el
lado positivo: "No creo que se puedan batir los récords cuando se quiera.
Se pueden romper cuando estás al cien por cien centrado en lo que quieres
hacer, ya sea correr un maratón o lo que sea". “Tienes que actuar y los
jugadores lo hicieron para ganar cada uno de los partidos", subrayó.
“No
fuimos lo suficientemente buenos. Ahora no sería positivo para mí mirar hacia
atrás dentro de unos años y pensar que el Liverpool casi lo logró. Esa no es mi
principal preocupación. No se puede cambiar", destacó Klopp.
"Íbamos a
perder un partido en algún momento, y no lo esperábamos esta vez pero estaba
claro que sucedería. Sucedió en este partido y ya considero bastante positivo
que nos hayamos acercado a estos registros", indicó el entrenador del
Liverpool.

"Ahora
podemos volver a jugar fútbol con libertad, sin presión. No tenemos que
intentar conseguir un récord. Solo tenemos que intentar volver a ganar partidos
de fútbol y eso es lo que haremos", insistió el técnico alemán del
Liverpool, a solo cuatro victorias para amarrar el título de la Premier.
"Lamento la
derrota pero el Watford ha sido mejor. Ahora tenemos la oportunidad de mostrar
una reacción nuevamente y eso es lo que haremos", añadió el técnico red.
"Algunas personas me han preguntado si lo veía venir porque el último
partido no fue el más convincente y tuvimos que remontar. Pero no significa que
el próximo partido deba pasar lo mismo. Siempre se pueden cambiar las
cosas", subrayó Jurgen Klopp.
"Lo que los
chicos han hecho hasta ahora es excepcional, pero no ha terminado. Eso es lo
único que me interesa, no ha terminado. Volveremos al 100% y veremos a dónde
nos lleva y dónde llegamos. No esperábamos la cantidad de partidos que ganamos.
Pero no estamos sorprendidos ya que los jugadores mostraron el año pasado una
temporada impresionante", concluyó.
