
Cuatro días
después de conquistar la primera vuelta de la Carioca, el campeón de la
Libertadores busca ante Independiente del Valle otro título.
Sólo cuatro días
de ganar la Copa Guanabara, la primera vuelta de la Liga Carioca, tras vencer
por 1-2 al Boavista con goles de Diego y Gabigol, Flamengo busca este miércoles
(madrugada del jueves en España) un nuevo título, en este caso la Recopa
Sudamericana en un Maracaná repleto frente al Independiente del Valle
ecuatoriano, que tiene “hambre de gloria”.
La semana pasada,
el partido de ida concluyó con un 2-2 que obligará a ambos equipos a buscar la
victoria, pues en la Recopa los goles a domicilio no tienen valor agregado.
Sin embargo, el
hecho de que el primer partido fuera en la altitud de Quito, a 2.850 metros
sobre el nivel del mar, y la presión de las cerca de 60.000 personas que
colmarán Maracaná parecen inclinar la balanza a favor del Flamengo.
Ramírez: “Los
jugadores de Flamengo ganan una burrada de salarios”
Flamengo ganó el
año pasado la Libertadores, en tanto que los ecuatorianos alzaron la Copa
Sudamericana y han llegado a la final de la Recopa con "hambre de
gloria", según dijo su entrenador, el canario Miguel Ángel Ramírez. Fla
conquistó también el pasado año la Liga de Brasil.
Aun así, el
técnico ha reconocido la superioridad del Flamengo, un equipo lleno de
"estrellas, que ganan una burrada de salarios", muy superiores a la
media del fútbol sudamericano, indicó Ramírez.
"A
Independiente lo veo bien, pero hay que ser conscientes de la jerarquía con la
que nos vamos a encontrar, en un estadio repleto como Maracaná", en el que
su equipo "tratará de ser fiel a su filosofía" de buen fútbol,
apuntó.
Independiente del
Valle ya está en Río de Janeiro, donde se entrena a puertas cerradas en las
instalaciones del Fluminense. Al equipo ecuatoriano le espera un Flamengo que
ha comenzado la temporada con la misma fuerza del año pasado, pero que puede
sufrir algunas ausencias importantes.
El entrenador de
Flamengo, Jorge Jesús, espera confirmación sobre el estado del lateral Rafinha,
el central Rodrigo Caio y el delantero Bruno Henrique, afectados todos por
sendas lesiones.
Gabigol fue
baja por sanción en la ida (2-2 en Quito)
Con esas
ausencias casi confirmadas, Joao Lucas deberá ingresar en el lugar de Rafinha,
en tanto que Leo Pereira sustituiría a Caio y el juvenil Pedro ocuparía el
lugar de Bruno Henrique. La buena noticia para el Flamengo es la vuelta de
Gabriel Barbosa, Gabigol, su principal referencia ofensiva, quien no jugó en
Quito pues estaba sancionado.
Flamengo aspira a
redondear un febrero perfecto y ganar en Maracaná el que sería su tercer título
del mes, tras alzar en las últimas semanas la Copa do Brasil frente al
Athletico Paranaense y la Copa Guanabara.
Una vez definida
la Recopa, Flamengo e Independiente del Valle tienen otras citas confirmadas a
corto plazo, pues comparten el Grupo A de la Copa Libertadores y volverán a
jugar al menos dos veces entre marzo y abril.
