De ser uno de
los equipos más goleados del torneo, el conjunto Azulcrema ya muestra una
sólida defensa.
América tuvo un
cambio radical del Apertura 2019 al Clausura 2020. El conjunto de Miguel

ha ayudado al América a colocarse como líderes tras siete jornadas.
Con la
readaptación del portero de la Selección mexicana al futbol nacional, las
Águilas sufrieron de constantes errores de Ochoa. Afortunadamente, su ofensiva
se puso al equipo a los hombros y de esta manera lograron colarse a la final,
la cual perdieron ante Monterrey.
Los 22 goles en
contra no fueron comparación con los 45 que recibió Veracruz, por supuesto,
pero sí fueron importantes en partidos clave en los cuales dejaron escapar
puntos. Para la siguiente temporada el objetivo era claro: mejorar la zaga a
toda costa.
Si bien los

tantos recibidos, pero la diferencia está en que las ofensivas de ambos equipos
han actuado de manera totalmente opuesta para sacar adelante los partidos.
Con el liderato
general momentáneo en sus manos y una zaga impenetrable, los Azulcremas sueñan
con colocar el trofeo de la Liga MX una vez más en sus vitrinas. De seguir así,
los de Coapa podrían soñar con aumentar su número de títulos y pasar a la
historia como una de las mejores defensas en torneos cortos.
