A sus 32 años, el medio de la Juventus se ha recuperado antes de tiempo tras ser operado de la rodilla izquierda en diciembre.
El alemán Sami Khedira, centrocampista de la Juventus, volvió a trabajar con el grupo este miércoles en el entrenamiento dirigido por el técnico Maurizio Sarri, dos meses y medio después de la lesión que sufrió en la rodilla izquierda que le obligó a operarse, según informó el club turinés en un comunicado.
Fue el pasado 4 de diciembre, cuando Khedira, centrocampista campeón de Europa en su etapa en el Real Madrid y campeón del mundo con Alemania en 2014, pasó por el quirófano en Augsburgo para limpiar por artroscopia su rodilla izquierda.
Dos meses y medio después, con unas dos semanas de antelación con respecto a su primer plan de recuperación, el alemán completó una sesión de entrenamiento junto al resto de sus compañeros en el centro deportivo de la Continassa (Turín).
Khedira, de 32 años, apunta a la convocatoria de Sarri para el partido del sábado en la Serie A contra el Spal de Ferrara, el último del líder Juventus antes de visitar al Lyon en la ida de los octavos de final de la Champions League.
Antes de su lesión, el alemán era un elemento de gran importancia en el equilibrio del once de Sarri y había disputado 12 partidos ligueros y cinco de la Champions.
No estuvo en la sesión de este miércoles el bosnio Miralem Pjanic, que se sometió a fisioterapia para recuperarse de las molestias musculares que sufre desde el partido del pasado domingo contra el Brescia que la Juventus ganó por 2-0.
