La sensación instalada en el fútbol argentino es que River va a ganar esta Superliga 2019/20. Lo sabe el Millonario -y se hace cargo de esa responsabilidad-. y lo saben sus rivales, que juegan con la sensación de que, de alguna manera u otra, el equipo de Marcelo Gallardo les va a ganar el partido. Pero Banfield nunca se animó a cuestionarle el dominio al local, que recién en el tramo final del partido, a partir de los ingresos de Quintero, Scocco y Pratto, volvió a ir en busca de cerrar un encuentro que pareció resuelto desde el instante mismo del gol, pero nunca parecía terminar de concretarse en el resultado.
Los nervios lógicos de los minutos finales, la lluvia, un par de contragolpes desperdiciados, tres atajadas descomunales del arquero Arboleda y un susto mayúsculo por un remate del resucitado Daniel Osvaldo le pusieron algo de épica a un partido que desde el juego tuvo escasas equivalencias.
