Los problemas del Millonario para ganar como local se enfrentan con un Taladro que lleva siete partidos sin recibir goles como visitante.
Si algo caracteriza a los equipos de Julio César Falcioni es su capacidad para defenderse. Una faceta que suele potenciar en los partidos que juega como visitante, donde suele ser más cauteloso. Y que en esta Superliga le está dando más réditos que nunca: el Banfield del Emperador llegará al Monumental para enfrentar a River este domingo con una racha vigente de siete partidos consecutivos sin recibir goles fuera del Florencio Sola. Una estadística que puede ser todo un problema para el Millonario, cuyas dificultades para ganar de local no son un secreto para nadie.
La última vez que el Taladro recibió un gol en condición de visitante fue el 16 de agosto del año pasado, en la derrota 3-2 contra Argentinos Juniors en La Paternal, por la tercera fecha del actual campeonato. Desde entonces, cada vez que tuvo que jugar fuera de casa el conjunto del Sur a cumuló tres empates en cero (contra Defensa y Justicia, Newell's y Racing) y cuatro victorias, de las cuales las últimas tres fueron de manera consecutiva (1-0 a Lanús, Independiente y Colón, que se suman al 2-0 de la jornada 7 contra Godoy Cruz).
Lo llamativo de esta seguidilla es que fue en esta racha de encuentros cuando Banfield recibió más remates por parte de sus rivales: los 23 disparos que intentó Racing en la fecha 11 en el Cilindro fueron el mayor número de disparos que recibió el equipo de Falcioni en todo el campeonato, mientras que el podio lo completan los 21 de Colón y los 18 de Lanús, tres encuentros incluidos en esta racha de valla invicta. De hecho, salvo Defensa y Justicia (que le pateó 4 veces, la menor marca del torneo), todos los equipos que fueron locales contra el Taladro remataron 10 o más veces.
Y será este aspecto el que deberá explotar el equipo de Marcelo Gallardo este domingo: el Millonario es el equipo de la Superliga que más remató al arco rival jugando en casa, con 170 disparos. ¿Por qué, entonces, a River le viene costando tanto ganar en el Monumental? Porque apenas marcó 10 tantos en el Monumental y es el tercer peor equipo en cuanto a la cantidad de goles anotados por remate: el conjunto de Núñez anota un gol cada 17 tiros, una cifra que sólo empeoran Central Córdoba (un tanto cada 19,13 disparos) y Gimnasia (uno cada 40,75).
