Los ‘dragones’, a cuatro puntos de las ‘águilas’ tras ganarles ya en Da Luz y poner fin a su racha de 16 victorias seguidas.
Con goles de Sérgio Oliveira, Alex Telles (de penalti) y Rúben Dias (en propia puerta), el Porto ganó hoy el clásico en casa ante el líder Benfica (3-2) y se el acercó a cuatro puntos, por lo que mantiene vivo el pulso por conquistar la Liga portuguesa.
Tras la 24ª jornada del campeonato, los ‘dragones’ suman 50 puntos, frente a los 54 del Benfica, que perdió la oportunidad de dar un golpe sobre la mesa y sentenciar prácticamente el título.
El Porto, gafe para el Benfica
El resultado en Do Dragão supuso un soplo de aire fresco para el Porto, que no termina de encontrar la regularidad esta temporada y puso fin a la racha de 16 victorias ligueras consecutivas que encadenaban las ‘águilas’. Precisamente el único partido que no habían ganado hasta ahora fue también ante el Porto, que ya venció en la primera vuelta en Da Luz (0-2).
La primera parte estuvo cargada de goles y los locales no tardaron en abrir el marcador, a los 10 minutos, gracias a una diana del luso Sérgio Oliveira.
Cuatro goles en la primera parte
Otávio dribló al valenciano Álex Grimaldo por la derecha y puso un centro al área, donde Luis Díaz intentó hacer una bicicleta sin éxito, pero Oliveira apareció junto a él para rematar a las redes.
Pero el Benfica no dejó que los ‘dragones’ fuesen en ventaja mucho tiempo y, en el minuto 18, Carlos Vinicius puso el empate al enganchar el rechace del guardameta Marchesín a un cabezazo de Chiquinho.
El brasileño Alex Telles volvió a adelantar a los blanquiazules en el 38’ de penalti tras una falta de Francisco Ferro y, en el 44’, un gol en propia puerta de Rúben Dias al intentar cortar un centro de Marega supuso el tercero del Porto.
Carlos Vinicius, dos goles y 'Pichichi', pero derrota
Las ‘águilas’ recortaron la ventaja al inicio del segundo tiempo nuevamente gracias a Carlos Vinicius, con un disparo con el pie izquierdo dentro del área, aunque no sirvió para evitar la derrota.
Con sus dos goles de hoy, el brasileño suma 14 tantos en Liga y se coloca como pichichi en solitario del campeonato, seguido de su compañero Pizzi, con 12.
Pepe reaparece y se lesiona
El partido supuso además la vuelta del exmadridista Pepe, que no jugaba desde el otro ‘clásico’ con el Sporting, el 5 de enero, debido a una lesión, y esta noche fue titular aunque se retiró de nuevo por esión y cedió el brazalete de capitán al cántabro Iván Marcano.
También se vivió el debut del último fichaje benfiquista, el delantero luso-brasileño internacional con Portugal Dyego Sousa, contratado tras la marcha de Raúl de Tomás al Espanyol y que salió en el 85’.
