El delantero tamaulipeco confesó que le agradaría volver en un futuro cercano al elenco tapatío.
Alan Pulido, reciente campeón de goleo de la Liga MX en el Apertura 2019, aclaró los motivos que lo orillaron a la decisión de dejar Chivas por aceptar la oferta del Sporting Kansas City de la MLS.
En entrevista con Goal, el delantero de Ciudad Victoria explicó que no buscó cambiar sus condiciones económicas sino el diálogo con la cúpula Rojiblanca; algo que lo dejó con sentimientos encontrados.
“Sí duele porque entregué, di todo y me maté por Chivas. Nadie me puede reprochar, en algunos partidos salían las cosas y en otros no. Yo nunca pedí un aumento de sueldo, solo pedía platicar algo diferente, lo teníamos atrás desde hace un año, pero entiendo las posturas de todos: el técnico (Luis Fernando Tena), el nuevo directivo (Ricardo Peláez) que llegó”, dijo durante la pretemporada en Scottsdale, Arizona.
Pulido Izaguirre se marchó el pasado mes de diciembre con un título individual, uno de Liga y Concachampions, dos de Copa MX y una Supercopa MX, además de haberse convertido en un referente de la institución.
“Sí se extraña (Guadalajara), es una ciudad muy linda y donde viví cosas muy buenas, pero los retos son para los ganadores y tomé esta decisión de la mejor manera. Me voy tranquilo y contento porque cumplí con las expectativas. Me gané el cariño de la gente y me ganaron el corazón”, mencionó.
Al tamaulipeco incluso le ilusiona poner punto final a su carrera en el equipo que lo repatrió al futbol mexicano, luego de dos años en el futbol de Grecia. “Me encantaría retirarme ahí porque hice grandes cosas. Ojalá tenga las puertas abiertas para regresar y retirarme, aunque todavía falta mucho para eso”.
En el contexto del Guadalajara, Pulido se muestra ansioso de que el equipo pueda encontrar una época ganadora de la mano de Amaury Vergara, Peláez y el Flaco Tena.
“Estoy seguro que les va a ir de lo mejor, ojalá se les pueda dar el campeonato (del Clausura 2020). Me encantaría por más que no esté ahí, me sacará una gran sonrisa verlos triunfar”, detalló.
Para este semestre, José Juan Macías se convirtió en su reemplazo en el ataque posteriormente de un año brillante con el León que lo llevó a convertirse en el mejor goleador mexicano.
Pese a ello, al margen de que confía en su olfato de gol, Pulido aclara que esta podría no serle una tarea sencilla en un cuadro tan mediático: “No es la mismo presión, pero deseo de corazón que Macías pueda crecer más futbolísticamente y lleve al club a lo más alto. Que tome esa responsabilidad, no es fácil”.
Por último opinó acerca de la inversión de elementos de la talla de Chicote Calderón, Uriel Antuna, Jesús Angulo, entre otros, a los cuales consideró importantes, mas no determinantes en sus posiciones.
"Invirtieron muchísimo en jugadores con gran calidad y que están sobresaliendo; no son consagrados que ya tienen un año o dos en el futbol mexicano o del primer equipo de la Selección. Son jóvenes que están creciendo y ahora se les da la oportunidad para mostrarse. Es una vitrina", sostuvo.
