El español Pablo Marí (Flamengo) viaja a Londres para fichar por el Arsenal

El central español Pablo Marí, uno de los bastiones del Flamengo para la consecución de la liga brasileña y la Copa Libertadores en 2019, ha viajado a Inglaterra para fichar por el Arsenal, que pagará al club de Río de Janeiro alrededor de ocho millones de euros.

 


El Flamengo, que esta semana dio descanso a su equipo principal y publicó en su perfil oficial de la red social Twitter una foto del jugador visitando la sede deportiva del club, sin relaciones el hecho a una eventual despedida, no se ha pronunciado sobre la supuesta propuesta que el Arsenal habría presentado Marí, que llegó como refuerzo para el segundo semestre al equipo del técnico portugués Jorge Jesús y que rápidamente se convirtió en uno de los líderes de la defensa. Marí marcó un decisivo gol en la semifinal de la Copa Libertadores.

 


El Flamengo pagó por el central español 1,3 millones al Manchester City, club con el que nunca jugó y que era dueño de sus derechos federativos, después de estar cedido la pasada temporada en el Deportivo La Coruña, equipo con el que disputó la promoción de ascenso a Primera, que se le escapó en la vuelta de la final ante el Mallorca y donde el propio Marí dispuso de una gran ocasión para cambiar la historia del conjunto gallego. Marí tiene contrato con el Flamengo hasta 2022.
