lo confirme como reemplazante de Gustavo Alfaro.
Todos los caminos
en Boca Juniors conducen a Miguel Ángel Russo. Sin embargo, dos semanas después

nombres mencionados, como el de José Pekerman y Martín Palermo, la primera
opción siempre fue el último DT en ganar la Libertadores en la institución.
Pero había varias cuestiones para solucionar para poder hacerlo oficial.
En principio, el
desprolijo traspado de mando se concretó recién el pasado fin de semana y el
jueves se celebró la entrega de diplomas a los nuevos dirigentes, que
celebraron su primera reunión de Comisión Directiva el viernes. Más allá de que
Román tendrá la suma del poder en cuanto al fútbol, debían debatirlo en ese
encuentro con el resto de los integrantes de la CD.
Otro tema que
todavía no tuvo un corte definitivo es la conformación del cuerpo técnico.
Sabido es que Russo solía moverse en bloque junto a Hugo Gottardi y Guillermo
Cinquetti, habiendo sido este último el "chivo expiatorio" utilizado
cuando Pompilio lo despidió a finales del 2007. Pero el proyecto del 10 tiene
la firme decisión de sumar a un exjugador del club: se habó de Sebastián Battaglia,
de Hugo Ibarra y quien finalmente tiene las mayores chances es Leandro Somoza,
que lo acompañó en su última experiencia en Cerro Porteño.
Por último,
aunque no menos importante, Boca todavía tiene entrenador, porque no hubo
reunión con Gustavo Alfaro para ponerle fin a su vínculo, indispensable para
que Miguelo pueda firmar el suyo.
"La semana
que viene vamos a tenerlo", dijeron al unísono Ameal y Pergolini
públicamente. Con la Navidad en el medio, podría ser este mismo lunes que Papé
Noel se adelante y le regale a Boca su anhelado técnico y a Russo su segunda
chance de hacer historia.
