El delantero
colombiano retornó de Sevilla, donde estaba realizando una terapia especial
para tratar su lesión muscular.
Duván Zapata
regresó el martes en la noche a Bérgamo, luego de estar dos semanas en España
realizando un tratamiento especial con el reconocio fisioterapeuta Carlos
Pedrosa.
El colombiano no quiso
dar declaraciones sobre su estado físico y su vuelta los campos a su arribo a
Italia. "No puedo hablar del tema", respondió a las insistentes
preguntas de la prensa que lo esperaba en el Aeropuerto Orio al Serio.
Sin embargo, este
miércoles, Duván reapareció en los entrenamientos matutinos del Atalanta,
aunque lo hizo de manera diferenciada, tal como informó el club en su página
web. El cafetero no estaría disponible
para el duelo con el Milan este domingo en el Estadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia,
por la jornada 17 de la Serie A y último de 2019.
Cabe resaltar que
Zapata ya suma más de dos meses sin jugar. La última vez fue el pasado 12 de
octubre en duelo amistoso con la Selección Colombia ante Chile, partido en el
que sufrió la lesión de primer grado en el aductor derecho.
En principio se
pensó que no sería una lesión grave e incluso el colombiano tuvo una buena
evolución y empezó a hacer fútbol antes de lo esperado, pero justo cuando
estaba por volver a los campos él mismo aseguró no sentirse apto para la
competición oficial, razón por la que decidió iniciar una terapia especial en
Sevilla de la mano del doctor Pedrosa.
Se espera que
Duván esté completamente recuperado para enfrentar al Parma el próximo 6 de
enero de 2020.
