
Diversos
equipos del futbol mexicano tendrán que entrar en un proceso de transición ya
que tengan que usar menos jugadores no formados en México.
La Liga MX está
en constante cambio y a partir de 2020 prepara uno que podría modificar la
competición de manera drástica. Los equipos acordaron recientemente reducir la
cantidad de extranjeros en sus filas, por lo cual habrá equipos que tengan que
pensar en cómo solventar un futuro sin estos jugadores.
En la última
asamblea de dueños, los propietarios de los clubes respondieron a la llamada de
Gerardo Martino y concordaron en ya no usar tantos futbolistas no formados en
México. Esto debido a que el seleccionador nacional cree que ellos frenan el
crecimiento de los mexicanos y por ello no existe tanto material para el
Tricolor.
Sin embargo, esta
reducción podría no beneficiar a todos los clubes y perjudicarlos en los
primeros torneos que tengan que utilizar a más mexicanos al no tener un sólido
programa para formarlos, es decir, sus fuerzas básicas. Pachuca, Chivas, Pumas,
entre otros, podrían despreocuparse por el momento, pero otros deberán trabajar
inmediatamente con sus categorías juveniles.
América, por
ejemplo, ha comenzado a utilizar más a sus mexicanos y darles un peso
específico en el plantel. Tal es el caso de Sebastián Córdova y Richard
Sánchez, quienes ya tienen participación con el Tri de Martino. Estos dos
jugadores han comenzado a tomar un papel protagónico por las múltiples lesiones
de los azulcremas este torneo.
Su rival en la
final del Apertura 2019, Monterrey, es un caso similar. Los Rayados tienen un
11 titular primordialmente extranjero, pero en su plantilla destacan Jesús
Gallardo, Rodolfo Pizzarro y Carlos González, quienes también han sido
convocados por el técnico argentino para la Selección Mayor. Sin embargo, estos
dos últimos pelean constantemente por un puesto gracias a la amplia profundidad
que tiene Antonio Mohamed a su disposición.
Tigres podría ser
el equipo que más sufrirá el tema en cuestión. Ricardo Ferretti trabaja muy
bien con los extranjeros y poco a poco les ha dado más importancia. Es un club
que no trabaja a los jóvenes y el propio Tuca ha criticado la regla 20/11 como
innecesaria. Además, solamente Luis Rodríguez mantiene un nivel apto para el
Tri, ya que las fallas de Carlos Salcedo y Diego Reyes los han alejado del
Tricolor.
