El delantero
colombiano sigue en España adelantando la recuperación de su lesión muscular y
se perderá el último duelo de Champions League.
El regreso de
Duván Zapata a los campos no será este miércoles ante el Shakhtar en el duelo crucial del Atalanta por
Champions League, como se venía especulando la semana pasada en Italia . Si
bien el ex América de Cali había evolucionado bien de su lesión en el aductor
derecho y ya estaba haciendo fútbol en los entrenamientos, lo cierto es que
todavía no se siente con la confianza suficiente para volver a la competencia
oficial.
Es por ello que
el ariete cafetero tuvo que volver a Sevilla, España, para continuar con el
tratamiento especial al que se sometió días pasados buscando una recuperación
más rápida, sin embargo, en Italia ahora apuntan a que no estará listo hasta
2020, perdiéndose los últimos tres partidos de Atalanta en 2019, incluyendo el
último de la fase de grupos de Champions, los otros dos son ante Bologna y
Milan.
La recuperación
de Duván ha tardado un poco más de lo esperado, en principio se habló de un par
de semanas, pero ya van casi dos meses desde que sufrió la lesión de primer grado en el
aductor derecho jugando con la Selección Colombia .
El del este
miércoles es un duelo de vital importancia para Atalanta, que es último en el
Grupo C con apenas 4 puntos, pero aún tiene chance de meterse en octavos de
final. Para lograrlo necesita vencer en
Ucrania al Shakhtar (segundo con 6 puntos) y que Dinamo Zagreb (tercero con 5)
no le gane al líder Manchester City (11 pts).
Si el cuadro
italiano gana, pero también lo hace el Dinamo quedará tercero y se quedará con
el premio de consolación de la fase de grupos de la Champions League: la
clasificación a la Europa League.
