El Benfica venció este viernes en el feudo del Boavista (1-4) gracias a los goles de Carlos Vinicius (2), Franco Cervi y Gabriel y se mantuvo líder de la Liga portuguesa.En el arranque de la decimotercera jornada, las "águilas" consiguieron los tres puntos y ya suman 36, cinco más que el Oporto, que juega el domingo en el campo del Belenenses.
El Benfica abrió el marcador en el minuto 35, después de un puntapié del brasileño Vinicius a pase del portugués Pizzi. Al filo del descanso, en el 44, el Boavista consiguió poner tablas en el marcador con un gol de cabeza del serbio Nikola Stojiljkovic. Pero el líder no se rindió y en la segunda parte certificó una contundente victoria.
En el 52, la defensa del Boavista intentó sacar en el área pequeña un pase raso de las "águilas", pero el argentino Cervi consiguió tocar el balón y colarlo en la portería, en una jugada en la que el VAR concluyó que no había falta. Ya en el descuento, el español Alex Grimaldo lanzó una falta y el brasileño Gabriel, de cabeza dentro del área, hizo el cuarto para los de Bruno Lage.
El conjunto encarnado se llevó así los tres puntos y se mantuvo en la cima de la clasificación antes de su compromiso europeo con el Zenit del próximo martes, que no le servirá para continuar en la Liga de Campeones, donde ya está eliminado, pero con el que se juega la Liga Europa.
La derrota hizo caer al Boavista a la sexta posición de la tabla, con 18 puntos.
