El timonel de
los vigentes monarcas, Juan Tagle, cuestionó también al Sifup, a Mario Salas y
a La Roja tras el cierre del Campeonato Nacional.
La pasada semana
estuvo marcada por una reunión que realizó el Consejo de Presidentes. En la
cita, los dirigentes de los clubes llegaron un consenso y dieron por finalizado
el Campeonato Nacional en medio de la crisis social que atraviesa el país desde
el pasado 18 de octubre y que impidió la realización de los partidos en todas
sus categorías.
El Consejo logró
el anhelado quórum y decidió dar por terminado el torneo doméstico y declarar a
Universidad Católica campeón con 42 votos a favor. Así, los de Gustavo
Quinteros sellaron la obtención de su corona 14 en torneos de Primera División.
El equipo de La Franja acumuló 53 unidades en 24 jornadas jugadas del certamen
y le sacó 13 puntos de ventaja a Colo Colo (40), su más cercano perseguidor.
Y pese al logro
de los Cruzados, el presidente de los estudiantiles, Juan Tagle, criticó al
capitán de Colo Colo, Esteban Paredes, y al Sindicato de Futbolistas
Profesionales (SIFUP) por su negativa de retomar el fútbol. En diálogo con La
Tercera, el timonel de los precordilleranos señaló que el gremio de jugadores
"pudo haber colaborado más y se los dije. Se encontraron en una situación
delicada y con posturas muy duras de algunos jugadores de mucho peso".
Así, el mandamás
de los vigentes monarcas puso como ejemplo al 'Tanque', de quien señaló:
"Tuvo una posición desde el día uno de no jugar. No dio nunca la opción de
que se jugara. No es que dijera que se juega si se cumple esto. Nunca quiso
jugar. Puede ser que esté equivocado, pero nunca le vi un llamado a jugar. Le
vi solo decisiones de no jugar y de terminar el campeonato".
Y en la misma
línea, lanzó: "Lo de Mario Salas también me llamó la atención. Me parece
que el Sifup tuvo una cierta debilidad con algunos jugadores de mucho peso que
manifestaron una posición muy negativa. También tuvo una debilidad frente al
tema de los seleccionados. Fue una pésima señal que no jugaran ante Perú".
"Si se hace
una cronología de cómo llegamos a no jugar, pongo la bajada de los
seleccionados, las declaraciones de Esteban Paredes y Mario Salas; y luego,
como gran elemento, que ya no es tema del Sifup, lo que sucedió en La Florida.
Entremedio, agrego la actitud de algunas barras bravas como la Garra Blanca. No
solo querían que Colo Colo no jugara, sino que nadie jugara", cerró.
Cabe recordar que
la resolución del Consejo -de dar por terminado los campeonatos pero no validar
ascensos y descensos- afectó directamente a Santiago Wanderers, que hasta el
momento lideraban la clasificación en la Primera B. De hecho, en el club
"caturro" existe indignación e incluso no descartaron recurrir al
Tribunal de Arbitraje Deportivo (TAS)
para revertir la decisión. "Estamos analizando los antecedentes para ver
qué instancias posteriores o juridiccionales tenemos. Vamos a barajar todas las
posibilidades", declaró el presidente de la institución, Rafael González.
