Superclásico internacional ¡por la Copa Libertadores!

Boca y River. El Superclásico más importante de América -y uno de los más
destacados del planeta- tuvo en el último lustro varios capítulos a nivel
internacional que vieron como ganador al equipo de Marcelo Gallardo.
Semifinales de la Sudamericana 2014, octavos de final de la Libertadores 2015,
la histórica final de Madrid 2018 y las semis del mismo certamen en 2019. ¿Y si
se vuelven a cruzar en el 2020 y antes de lo esperado?
Tras la dura
caída contra Flamengo en la definición de este año, el Millonario no pudo
asegurarse todavía un lugar en la fase de grupos de la próxima edición. Para
hacerlo, le queda una última y única forma: vencer a Central Córdoba de
Santiago del Estero en la final de la Copa Argentina 2019, que se disputará el
próximo viernes 13 de diciembre. De lo contrario, deberá disputar disputar un
repechaje -frente a un rival a confirmar- para certificar su acceso a uno de
los ocho grupos de la Libertadores.
El principal
criterio para definir las cabezas de serie, organizar los bolilleros (bombos) y
establecer quiénes juegan como local los duelos de vuelta de las etapas
previas, es el Ranking de Clubes de la CONMEBOL para la Libertadores, según
establece el artículo 25 del reglamento de competencia. Si River se clasificara
como campeón de la Copa Argentina 2019, probablemente integre el primer
bolillero, el del campeón Flamengo y los siete equipos con mejor posición en el
Ranking. En cambio, si termina jugando y ganando el repechaje, su lugar en el
sorteo será en el cuarto bolillero, el cual estará integrado por los equipos
provenientes de la Fase 3 y otros cuatro equipos entre las posiciones 24 y 31
del Ranking. Y ahí se abriría la oportunidad de un nuevo choque contra Boca.
Es que si los de
Núñez no se ubican como uno de los cabezas de grupo, podrían salir sorteados en
cualquier zona, incluida la que encabezará el Xeneize. ¿Se dará un nuevo
