El técnico de
River habló después de la derrota ante Flamengo, equipo al que destacó.
"Jugamos contra un gran rival. Hay que saber perder", aseguró.
River estaba a
minutos de ser bicampeón de la Copa Libertadores , pero dos goles de Gabigol en
tres minutos lo dejaron sin nada. "La sensación claramente es de dolor.
Teníamos el partido a pocos minutos y bueno, dolor..." , dijo Marcelo
Gallardo tras la dura derrota de su equipo.
¿Por
qué se lo dieron vuelta a River? "Después del empate nos golpearon un
poquito. Teníamos la sensación de estar a tan poco y, quedarte sin nada es
duro, pero hay que digerir la derrota", analizó el entrenador y reconoció:
"Es dura la derrota, duele, pero siento orgullo. Orgullo por mis
jugadores, por toda la gente que trabaja y colabora conmigo, por el hincha de
River que nos acompañó. Estuvimos ahí, el partido lo jugamos contra un gran
rival. Sentimos que hicimos el partido que teníamos que hacer. Hay que saber
perder".
Claro que el DT
reconoció que la tristeza es mayor por lo cerca que estuvo su equipo de
conquistar el bicampeonato. "Hay que saber perder, es la manera más triste
porque estabas a nada", aseguró el Muñeco y pidió: "Tienen que
sentirse orgullosos y competir como lo que hicimos contra un rival que venía
con muchas luces. Nos plantamos en la cancha de muy buena manera, como un
equipo campeón".
Por último, el
entrenador destacó a sus dirigidos y les habló a los hinchas: "Este es un
grupo de jugadores que le dio muchísimo al hincha de River en estos año. Así
que, que no tengan ni guna duda de que hay orgullo en todos nosotros. El hincha
de River y la gente del fútbol en general va a reconocer a este equipo porque
no vino acá a pasear, vino hasta acá por el hambre que teníamos. Nos
enfrentamos con un rival poderoso".
