tenía la oportunidad de volver a ser el único puntero, pero la dejó pasar: se
llevó un empate sin goles de Liniers y sigue sin despegar.
No era una parada
fácil para Boca. Vélez ya había demostrado en la Copa de la Superliga, hace
apenas unos meses, que podía ser uno de los rivales más difíciles para el
equipo de Gustavo Alfaro. Pero la oportunidad parecía inmejorable para
recuperar la cima de la Superliga en soledad. Era necesaria una muestra de
carácter, de sacar un plus en una brava. Una muestra que, otra vez, no tuvo.
El Lechuga
decidió copar la mitad de la cancha para intentar neutralizar la intensidad que
suele proponer Gabriel Heinze. La idea, defensivamente, pudo haberle
funcionado. Pero ofensivamente, no. Más allá de algunas jugadas aisladas que
hicieron lucir a Domínguez, el Xeneize generó poco y nada en el arco local. Y
para peor, sobre el final, la expulsión de Frank Fabra hizo que el visitante
termine defendiéndose muy cerca de su área y que Andrada se convierta en
figura.
Esa imagen del
final es la que preocupa, porque el poco peso en ataque fue una constante
durante todo el semestre, pero no así el sufrimiento en el fondo. Si en algo
había hecho fuerte Alfaro al plantel era en la última línea, y aunque la
expulsión de Fabra pudo haberle dado algún espacio más a Vélez, lo cierto es
que el DT armó dos líneas de cuatro para neutralizar esa ausencia. Pero los
espacios estuvieron y el arquero tuvo que aparecer para salvar, una vez más, el
cero.
Boca dejó pasar
tres puntos de oro a pesar de que el empate le sirve para ponerse en la misma
línea que Lanús y Argentinos. Pero, más importante, dejó pasar la posibilidad
de demostrarse a si mismo que realmente sí está para pelear el campeonato.
