La victoria
lograda por Inter de Milán el martes había dejado a Juventus con la obligación
de sumar tres puntos frente a Genoa para mantenerse primero en la Serie A. La
Vecchia Signora tuvo que sufrir, pero ganó 2-1 gracias a Cristiano Ronaldo, que
convirtió un penal en el descuento y lo llevó a lo más alto de la tabla.
Tras un comienzo
trabado, los dirigidos por Maurizio Sarri encontraron la apertura del marcador
a los 36 minutos, cuando el arquero Radu salió mal en un córner y Leonardo

complicado para el local en el final, porque Adrien Rabiot recibió una tarjeta
roja y el árbitro anuló un gol de Cristiano Ronaldo por posición adelantada.

festejo.
