de la MLS le permitiría a Carlos Vela fichar con el club catalán al término de
la liga estadounidense.
El sueño de todos
los mexicanos es ver a Carlos Vela enfundado en los colores del Barcelona .
Aunque el atacante del LAFC ha dicho que se siente muy cómodo en Los Angeles,
su salida podría facilitarse gracias al calendario poco común de la MLS.
Con un par de
semanas más por jugarse, el LAFC de Carlos Vela es el contendiente más fuerte
para levantar el título de la MLS. Sin embargo, la falta de actividad hasta
enero, aunado a las necesidades de los clubes europeos, podría mover al
cancunense de vuelta al Viejo Continente.

Landon Donovan y David Beckham son tres nombres de jugadores que han pasado por
la MLS y por grandes clubes de Europa. El francés finalizó su carrera con los
Red Bulls de New York, pero el estadounidense y el inglés usaron dicho receso
para fichar fuera de América.
El eterno capitán
de las Barras y las Estrellas salió por primera vez a Europa a modo de cesión
con el Bayern Munich . Posteriormente, Landon regresó a la MLS y emigró una vez
más para unirse al Everton en dos ocasiónes bajo el mismo esquema.
Por su parte,
Beckham fue el fichaje estrella del Galaxy para 2007 . Tras cinco años en la
organización, se esperaba que el mediocampista se retirara en Los Angeles, pero
tomó una última oportunidad al termino de la temporada 2012 para unirse a las
filas del Paris Saint-Germain.
El caso de
Donovan sería el más atractivo para Vela, aunque el desgaste físico sería
mayor. Salir a modo de cesión para jugar con el Barcelona, mantenerse en ritmo
y regresar al LAFC podría ser el plan idóneo para el 10 del equipo angelino.
Sin embargo, será cuestión de que ambas partes estén de acuerdo en el trato y
que el mexicano quiera continuar jugando sin vacaciones por un año.
La opción de una
venta definitiva se ve aún más lejana. Vela mantiene firme su postura de
quedarse en Los Angeles por los beneficios que le otorga la ciudad. Aunque
podría regresar una vez que termine su contrato con el Barcelona, él y su
familia ya tienen una vida en Estados Unidos, y el futbol no es un factor que
lo motive lo suficiente como para dejar la ciudad de California.
